Bala Hanuman is a quarterly digital newsletter for and by children and youth. It is an initiative of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Mulamnaya Sarvajna Pitham, published by Kalainirai Foundation, USA. The first issue was released with the anugraham of Jagadguru Shri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal, of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Mulamnaya Sarvajna Pitham.

We draw inspiration from young englightened minds like Dhruva, Nachiketas, Prahlada and Sri Adi Shankaracharya. 

Bharatam has a tradition of wisdom and reflection among children and youth. Hindu children and youth today have various common avenues to exhibit their mainstream knowledge, skills and talents.  Bala Hanuman aspires to provide a platform for self-expression of their dharmic reflections - to hear the voices of Bharatiya children and youth all over the world following Sanatana Dharma and showcase their Bharatiya and dharmic learning with pride.

From the second quarter of 2024, as per the directions of Periyava, Bala Hanuman added a section for seniors, titled "Shabari" for ages 65 and up.
